FANTASTIC Tri-fold cards

Saturday was National Scrapbooking Day.  I was pleased to be able to spend it with some lovely ladies at Timeless Cottage.  The make-n-take I did was on the "Tri-Fold Card".  Here are some of the great examples these ladies made using their own creative talents.  Thank  you ladies for allowing me to share these fantastic creations!

A GREAT DAY AT TIMELESS COTTAGE

Wow, another great day of scrapbooking at Timeless Cottage.  We celebrated National Scrapbooking Day with a wonderful group of ladies.  There were prizes, challenges, great food and lots of laughs.  Can't wait until the next gathering.

I provided a make-n-take for the ladies using Stampin' UP! products.  We did a tri-fold card and I think they enjoyed it.  Some of the ladies made multiple cards using this little tutorial.  Great job ladies!!  I will post some pictures as soon as I can!

Thanks again to everyone who joined us to celebrate National Scrapbooking Day!!

Timeless Cottage

www.timelesscottage.ca

Wow, spent the day scrapbooking at Timeless Cottage.  What a beautiful spot.  I got a chance to play with the new Designer Series Paper Packs now available in the Stampin' UP! Idea Book and Catalogue.  I will post some samples soon.  I also finished everything but one page in my Disney Album (which has only taken over 2 years to do....).  It was a perfect day of relaxation.  I highly recommend it!

Floral District

Here are a couple of cards I put together at a crop using the Designer Series Paper Pack FLORAL DISTRICT (126919, $13.50).  The co-ordinating papers make it so easy to make cards quickly.

Whooooo loves ya, Baby!

Another cute punch creation! This is one of my favorite "critters" created with the Top Note Die. In this sample, I used Soft Suede card stock and cut out the Top Note image then folded it in half. Mr. Owl's eyes are done in Whisper White, cut with the 1 3/8" circle punch and Basic Black, cut with the 1/2" circle punch. His nose/beek is a petal off the 5-petal punch done in Pumpkin Pie.

This cute critter makes a great topper for treat bags or a fabulous image on Halloween cards or teacher's gifts.

Top Note Purse Card

This is a cute little card that we did at my open house last week. Thanks to Jane for helping me put these together. The colour in this photo is not great, but in this example we used Perfect Plum and Whisper White card stock for the card base and top layer. For the purse and flower we used the Patterned Designer Series paper pack in Perfect Plum.

Once you cut out the Top Note image, you simply fold done the top half to create the top of your purse. You will have to cut off the little "wings" on the side of the Top Note image to create this look. The handle is simply a folded strip of matching Perfect Plum card stock. You may use ribbon if you want to "jazz" it up a bit. Feel free to add a button or other type of hardware to add a bit more flare to your purse. The decorative flower is made with the 5-Petal Flower punch and is adhered with a brad. In this example, the phrase "true friend" is from the Stampin' UP! set "Simple Friendship".

Thought this was a cute idea!! Hope you do too!

PUPPY POWER

Okay...isn't this puppy the cutest thing you've seen in a long time. Well, I thought so when I was surfing through the internet looking for ideas. A special thanks to fellow Stampin' UP! demo, Michelle Suit, for the inspiration.

This little guy is made with our fabulous Stampin' Up! punches and is super easy to put together. I used the 1 3/4" punch for his head, body and muzzle, as well as punched scraps for his nose and collar ; the 3/4" x 15/16" oval for his paws and the word window punch for his ears. The small circle for the "tag" on his collar can be cut with a either the circle from the Itty Bitty Shapes punch pack or the Owl punch. Don't forget to use your black Stampin' Write marker to add those cute little features! Sponge around the outside of your circles with Chocolate Chip ink to add some details and he is ready to play!

In this sample, the "rolling hills" are just scrapped pieces of Garden Green that I tore to make hills. The stamp set featured is one of our great Hostess Level Specials, "Happy Birthday Wishes", a great stamp set that you can purchase at an amazing Hostess Level pricing if you have a qualifying party!!

Hope this little guy made you smile!!!
